Painting with Marbles

Here's another art activity that we did for St. Patrick's day. Just like the block painting we did the other day, this marble painting is process art. 

Supplies: green paint, paper, marbles, baking tray

I taped the paper into the baking tray. Then Monkey told me where to put the blobs of green paint. 

Finally, he dumped all the marbles in. 

Then Monkey started rolling the marbles around. 

He was mesmerized by the marbles and kept rolling them back and forth in the tray long after the paint was already dry!

Here's what his masterpiece looked like:

I printed out a small shamrock outline that I could use for a tracer. 

I used the tracer and cut out five shamrocks to put up on the wall.

So cute!
